GOING PRIVATE NEXT SUNDAY

Well I have finally decided to go private. There are certain circumstances that have pushed me to go this way. I am so sorry for anyone this is an inconvenience for but it is best for our family at this time. Who ever would like to continue to read my blog you can either email me at genessaphillips@yahoo.com or leave me a comment with your email address. Again I am so sorry, and regret that I have to do this. I will change my blog to private next Sunday so it will give everyone plenty of time.

10 Months old and Salt Lake

I have no idea how photographers get kids to hold still. It tell you they are amazing. These are the only two shoots I got and they are ok. Bridger DOES not sit still like he used to. I can't believe that my baby boy is 10 months old. He is the busiest little boy. Church has definitely been the challenge. He just wants to explore and play with every kid that he can find. I don't know whether to let him down and play or teach him to sit and be reverent. Any ideas?












SALT LAKE CHEER COMPETITION
We had a great time in Salt Lake on Saturday. It was a quick fun trip. We stopped and ate at Red Lobster. It was great food and great company. Bridger thought the compettion was pretty cool. As soon as the girls started dancing he got the oh mouth and never took his eyes off of them. After the first couple were done he decided to dance to the music. Meagan's team did great they took 2nd place. We had such a great time, it was so nice to get out of the house. Thanks mom, Jim and Meagan for an AMAZING time.

He was a good man

Many people may disagree with me but I think that George W Bush was a great President. He did what he thought was best for our country in the time of need. I am so grateful for him, and all that he did for our Country. I will greatly miss him.
Since watching the inauguration today I realized that Obama has different views, but he will do what he thinks is best for the country just as George W Bush did. I just know that I need to have trust in the Lord that he will help us through this time of need.

As most of you know I love Projects. I guess that's why you can say that I never get bored being a stay at home mom. Well, I guess most of them are for Adam. Our recent project that is still in the works is moving the entrance to our bedroom downstairs. We had to go through the laundry room to get to it. So we cut a hole in the wall and added a door, the other door has been turned into a closet.

hardwood floors.
We were thinking an
old fashioned oak.
It will bring in the
lightness with the
cabinets, but add dark
also. It will give it a rustic

Today Bridger fell over and bonked his head. I would have to say this is his first real raspberry!

Bridger's First Toothbrush

As we were reading through some of the notes that the doctor gave us we came across the part where it said that we should start brushing his teeth. When we were grocery shopping on Tuesday I sent Adam to grab a toothbrush. He came back with a two pack of peanut toothbrushes. We are trying to put it into our nightly routine. So here are a couple of my favorites.

Touchdown!!

I have no idea where Bridger picked this up but we get a kick out of it. It doesn't matter what we are doing if he hears the word touchdown he put his arms up in the air. It is hilarious.


Adam and I were looking at the newspaper on Sunday and Bridger crawled under the table and found this. He was sucking on it like it was a binky. It is one of those outlet covers. I tell you this kid keeps me on my feet 24/7

9 Month photos and my little builder

These pictures are a little late I know. I thought it was better late then never. It is so hard to get good pictures when they don't feel good. So I decided to wait until he felt a little better. It is so hard to get him to hold still anymore, so these are the best I got. These last 9 months have gone by so fast. I thought time went by fast when I was working. Since I have stayed at home I fill that our lives are in fast forward. Bridger is up on all four cruising around, but since we showed him he could walk with the walker he would rather try to walk. He has already tried to take steps by himself and we always catch him right in time. This little man is the center of our lives, he has brought Adam and I to a new level of love. I look forward to this next year and the memories we get to make. I am so grateful for such great friends and family. For those I don't talk to often you are always in my thoughts and prayers. We love each one of you very much and wish you a Happy New Year!

Christmas and 9 month check up

Christmas was so much fun this year. I did not realize how much excitement it adds by having a baby. Not that Bridger understood anything but he still thought it was pretty cool. This is a video of him and the walker that I woke up at 4:30 to get. We had a busy week. We started off at my dad house on Tuesday.

Bridger's 9 month appointment went well especially since we didn't have to get shots. He weighed 19lbs 8 oz and 30 inches long. The doctor said that he is as tall as a average 15 month old toddler. Crazy! During Christmas Bridger was also very sick so the doctor said only one more week. As you can see he is in to everything. I love this boy so much. Every time he smiles it makes my day just that much better.

New Rocking Horse, Mystique Theater and a special visitor

Bridger got another early Christmas present. As you can see it is a rocking horse. Martin's uncle made it. It is so beautiful. He really enjoys it.
As some of you know Adam's dad lives and works on the farm. So of course his grand kid had to have some cowboy boots. Thanks you guys for the nice stuff, it gives me excuses to take a lot of pictures.

We had the opportunity to go the the Mystique Theater Chamber of Secrets on Saturday(late anniversary present). It was such an awesome experience. I want to go back and take some pictures of the room we were in, it was amazing. There were a total of eight couples and the food was amazing. Lets just say I ate sushi for the first time. If any of you want an amazing evening with great food and entertainment check it out. It is well worth the money.

My good friend Jamie from High school(Elementary) stopped by on Saturday on there way to Idaho Falls. It was so fun to finally meet Will. He is such a cute little boy. It is so fun because Bridger and Will are only 4 and 1/2 weeks apart. It was fun chatting and catching up. Thanks guys for stopping by it made my day!
