Fun at the Phillips house

I have been getting a little brave and showering while Bridger plays upstairs. He is really good at entertaining himself. So when I was right in the middle of shampooing my hair I could hear him, he was getting in the shower and there was no way to stop him! "So here are a couple of the pictures. He thought that it was really funny!

What is going on at the Phillips house........

Not much has been going on at our house except this little angel keeping me very busy. All I can say is that he is all boy! We have to make sure that our toilet seat is always down or we find nice presents waiting for us. Well this WAS my labor ball, until Bridger broke it. He was playing with it and he put it in front of the heater and it popped! Oh well. He is constantly learning new things and trying to push us as far as he can. Well what can I say we still adore him!

I am hoping this week to get my new car! I am so excited. Don't get me wrong we love our Accord but we just wanted something a little bigger. It looks exactly like this but it is a dark gray.









Last but not least here is a video of Bridger playing the piano. He is almost as good as his Aunt Meagan! HAHA.

Updates and Car for Sale

Here is our finished deck! I love it. Adam did such a great job. I am so happy that our grass is actually green this year, it is so hard to take care of because it is so big. So here is our finished project, hopefully I will be able to post some pics of my garden.

We are still trying to sell my car if anyone is interested. WE dropped the price to 13,899.00. It is in excellent condition with low miles. We are just looking to get a Honda Pilot, just in case our family happens to grow!!! Here are the details on it.

This weekend was so nice, so of course we played outside. We had a couple visitors on Saturday so there will more pictures to come. We are also heading to the zoo tomorrow with some friends. Here are a few of my favorites of the BOY. ENJOY!

Week 7

Since we are getting ready for the end of week seven I thought that I would post our 7 week photos. We still have 5 more weeks, and a lot to work on. I just hope that my husband will not kill me for posting this. We have worked to hard, so I wanted to share our results. All I can say is that I cannot wait for swim suit season! I just want to tell my husband thanks for pushing me and keeping me motivated. LOVE YA

CATEGORY: Low Sodium

METHOD:

TIME: Prep: 35 min. + chilling

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 2-1/3 cups Domino® or C&H® Pure Cane Powdered Sugar
• 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
• 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1-1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
• 2 tablespoons shortening
• Pastel sprinkles

Directions:

In a large bowl, cream butter; gradually add the confectioners' sugar, cracker crumbs, peanut butter and vanilla. Shape into 16 eggs; place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and shortening; stir until smooth. Dip eggs in chocolate; allow excess to drip off. Decorate with sprinkles; return eggs to waxed paper. Chill until set. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Yield: 16 eggs.

For those of you who have a hard time getting motivated, then this should help! Bridger loves to work out with me, it's just too bad the only thing that he can do is SQUATS. I will tell him to go work out and he starts doing squats or he watches the video and tries to keep up.

P90X is going great we are on week seven and loving every moment of it. I swear I always catch myself talking about it sorry. It is just amazing to feel this great after having a baby! I have always been scared of having to loose the baby weight, but now I have found a solution. I think that I am brave enough to post a half way done picture so check back soon.

Another side note we are loving this SNOW............................NOT! I am ready to start my garden!

Happy Easter

We had such an amazing Easter surrounded by family. Our day started out a little hard though. We were packing up our stuff early Saturday and Bridger wanted to go outside really bad, so we finally gave in. Within 10 seconds we hear a blood curdling scream. Bridger had fallen and hit his mouth and he had blood all over in his mouth. I have a hard time with blood especially his. We finally got everything cleaned up and headed to Idaho Falls. My dad had an Easter egg hunt at his house but Bridger was not feeling so well so he had his own later that day!

Easter Sunday. Bridger got a Lawn mower that blows bubbles, sand bucket for Bear Lake, a football and a basketball. This was also Bridger Sunday morning in his cute Sunday outfit.

We had the opportunity to go listen to Adam's dad and step mom speak Sunday. It was fun to be surrounded by family on Easter Sunday!

I love Easter and the importance of it. It is really fun watching the kids with the Easter egg hunts and the candy, but my kids will know the importance of Easter. I love the Gospel so much and the Lord Jesus Christ for everything that he has done for us. He has set the perfect example. If it were not for him, where would the next life lead to? I am grateful that I know our family is sealed for eternity, and we will see each other again. And it is only because our Father in Heaven sent his only begotten son to pay for the sins of the world. I can't wait for the day when I get to stand in front of the Lord, and thank him for being that perfect example. I look forward to what our future holds, and the blessings that the Lord has in store for us. This is one of my all time favorite songs. I hope everyone had a great EASTER!!

Dodge National RODEO!!

Last night we went to the Dodge National Rodeo. It was so AMAZING! It was so much fun watching all the different rounds they did. Adam's dad has a lot of knowledge about the rodeo that I think that made it even funner. Mutton Bustin' was one of my favorites. Those little kids were so brave and held on for a long time.
