P90X

So my husband ordered this off Ebay last week and we just started Day 1 today. I am so excited to watch my body transform and become stronger. I have always enjoyed being fit, but after I had Bridger I have just not had the motivation that I have needed. So I am hoping that by tracking my progress and using there eating plan I will be able to stick with it and get amazing results. This is a little a bit about how it works. After my first work out today i can't even lift my arms, and I can see a little four pack in my stomach. It is amazing, I can't wait to see the end results. If I get brave enough I may post the before and after photo's. That is a maybe so don't hold me to it. If I get motivated enough I may start a blog with my progress. ENJOY!

How does P90X work?

Two words: Muscle Confusion. By providing an extensive variety of different moves that take time to master, P90X is continually challenging the body's muscles into new growth. The more you confuse the muscle, the harder your body has to work to keep up; the more variety you put into your workout, the better and faster your results will be.

The flaw with many fitness products is that they all lead to a "plateau" where the body becomes accustomed to the routines, resulting in diminished effectiveness. P90X avoids this plateau effect by switching things up to keep the body guessing for the entire 90 days. Which means IT NEVER GETS EASY. By breaking old routines and opening new doors, secondary and tertiary muscles are constantly being activated and developed.

Learning Early and weekend

So my son is learning to put small things in interesting
places already. Adam went to try to play a tape tonight and
for some odd reason it would not play. When Bridger goes in the office he loves to stick his fingers in the tape player, get them stuck then make noises tell we help him get his fingers out. So Adam was sticking his fingers in the tape machine and found a SHARPE! So our tape player is back to playing tapes for now!









Bridger is now feeding himself dinner. It is great, except he is so messy!












This weekend we went to my little sister's cheer Competition. Lisa and I enjoyed watching all the teams. It reminded us of the good old days, when we could move like that! It was fun to watch Hillcrest because they used the same build that we took to nationals and WON! It is so much fun to watch my little sister's grow up, they are both AMAZING girls! And I am proud of Meagan for sticking with it even though she has been dropped numerous times.













Last but not least my BIRTHDAY! After you have kids your birthday's are not even close to exciting any more. I have a great family and friends who spoil me rotten. I took all my birthday money and a little from my husband and bought me a cricut. It is AMAZING. I always tell Adam how much I want him to buy me flowers and he hates flowers, so his mother Tracie and Martin got these beautiful flowers for me. Thanks for all the birthday wishes from everyone also, IT was and overall amazing day, THANKS. Now I have Adam and Bridger's birthday to plan for March.

11 Months old, Walking and finished project

He looked so cute today so I could not resist taking his 11 month pictures in his church outfit. It was hard getting him to look at the camera, there was so many better things to look at. Here are a couple of my favorites. I can't beleive my little baby will be a year old next month. Time sure does fly by. We are having a get together for his birthday and who ever wants to come is invited. We are just going to invite everyone and who ever shows up great. I will post more about it later, just wanted to give everyone a heads up that it will be on Saturday the 21st of March.













































Yes it is true! My baby is walking. This video is so much fun to just watch over and over. He is so stinking cute!


WE ARE ALMOST DONE

Here is some before and after projects. The room still has a little work, but I thought that I could share some pictures of what we have dome so far. It took us awhile to paint these crazy stripes, but it was worth it. It looks just as good as I imagined. ENJOY!

Sneak Peek and More Bridger

As most of you know the projects at our house are never ending. This is a sneak peek of what we have been doing to our office/Adam's game room. It is a crazy green I know. When you see the completed room you will understand! Until then here is your SNEAK PEEK!

BRIDGER AND MORE BRIDGER

As most of you can see I think that I talk on the phone to much my son is starting to copy me! When you give him the phone now he hold it up to his ear. He is still a little shy of saying anything, so he just sits there!












So the other night Adam and I were trying out the new guitar hero World Tour that I bought from my good old friend Steph and this is what we found!! If you know the Phillip's boys then you know they don't clean up after themselves. It was a little quite so we looked over there and Bridger was eating his left over pizza sauce. As you can see he REALLY enjoyed himself!

An Eventful Weekend

This last weekend ended up being a very busy weekend. To say the least we got a lot done. We left at about 2:00. We got to stop by April's house, and Pa and Eva's house before the festivities began. Then I went and picked Lisa and Taybre up to head to Steph's brothers reception. It was so much fun to chat and catch up.

Then we were off to the Emotion bowl to watch Meagan Cheer. The kids were awesome.












Then on Saturday Bridger and I were off to Shelley to watch my sister Ashley dance. That little stinker never tells me when she dances so it was great to be able to watch her. Then at 1:30 I met some of the girls that I used to work at Westmark with for lunch. We had a blast catching up and seeing how much all the kids had grown.










After lunch Bridger and I rushed home so we could make it to our ward Valentine party. We had a blast. We played the newlywed game and Adam and I were contestants. I was pretty surprised that we did as good as we did. We were one of the last three couples.

Last but not least my little Angel. He has grown up so much I can't even believe it. These are some of the new things that he is doing. You ask him how old he will be on his Birthday and he will show you the number one. and the newest thing is pulling his hair. Kind of strange I know!











We had so much fun this last weekend and are so blessed that we got to catch up with all my old friends. I appreciate all you sticking with me after I went private. Know that I am private I will feel more comfortable posting things. My brother in law is going through a divorce and I did not feel comfortable with her being able to see what's going on in our lives. I just wanted to protect ourselves and him at the same time.

Super Bowl Sunday!

We had a great Super Bowl Sunday. It was fun to be able to just hang out and have a great time. Since our ward split at the end of last year we have had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people. So I like to use excuses like this to get together and get to know them a little bit more. It was so fun to watch how Bridger interacted with the bigger boys. He thought it was pretty cool, and kept up with them the best that he could. They really enjoyed playing the piano so I had to get some fun pictures. I can't wait until I have a big enough family that I can take fun pictures like this. The Sabbath is one of my favorite days of the week I enjoy taking Bridger and going as a family, as we learn more about our Savior's plan for us. I am so grateful for such an amazing ward. Really it is AMAZING. We have met so many amazing people there is not one person in out ward that you can't hook the word AMAZING to.

GOING PRIVATE NEXT SUNDAY

Well I have finally decided to go private. There are certain circumstances that have pushed me to go this way. 10 Months old and Salt Lake

I have no idea how photographers get kids to hold still. It tell you they are amazing. These are the only two shoots I got and they are ok. Bridger DOES not sit still like he used to. I can't believe that my baby boy is 10 months old. He is the busiest little boy. Church has definitely been the challenge. He just wants to explore and play with every kid that he can find. I don't know whether to let him down and play or teach him to sit and be reverent. Any ideas?












SALT LAKE CHEER COMPETITION
We had a great time in Salt Lake on Saturday. It was a quick fun trip. We stopped and ate at Red Lobster. It was great food and great company. Bridger thought the compettion was pretty cool. As soon as the girls started dancing he got the oh mouth and never took his eyes off of them. After the first couple were done he decided to dance to the music. Meagan's team did great they took 2nd place. We had such a great time, it was so nice to get out of the house. Thanks mom, Jim and Meagan for an AMAZING time.

He was a good man

Many people may disagree with me but I think that George W Bush was a great President. He did what he thought was best for our country in the time of need. I am so grateful for him, and all that he did for our Country. I will greatly miss him.
Since watching the inauguration today I realized that Obama has different views, but he will do what he thinks is best for the country just as George W Bush did. I just know that I need to have trust in the Lord that he will help us through this time of need.
