Christmas and 9 month check up

Christmas was so much fun this year. I did not realize how much excitement it adds by having a baby. Not that Bridger understood anything but he still thought it was pretty cool. This is a video of him and the walker that I woke up at 4:30 to get. We had a busy week. We started off at my dad house on Tuesday.

Bridger's 9 month appointment went well especially since we didn't have to get shots. He weighed 19lbs 8 oz and 30 inches long. The doctor said that he is as tall as a average 15 month old toddler. Crazy! During Christmas Bridger was also very sick so the doctor said only one more week. As you can see he is in to everything. I love this boy so much. Every time he smiles it makes my day just that much better.

New Rocking Horse, Mystique Theater and a special visitor

Bridger got another early Christmas present. As you can see it is a rocking horse. Martin's uncle made it. It is so beautiful. He really enjoys it.
As some of you know Adam's dad lives and works on the farm. So of course his grand kid had to have some cowboy boots. Thanks you guys for the nice stuff, it gives me excuses to take a lot of pictures.

We had the opportunity to go the the Mystique Theater Chamber of Secrets on Saturday(late anniversary present). It was such an awesome experience. I want to go back and take some pictures of the room we were in, it was amazing. There were a total of eight couples and the food was amazing. Lets just say I ate sushi for the first time. If any of you want an amazing evening with great food and entertainment check it out. It is well worth the money.

My good friend Jamie from High school(Elementary) stopped by on Saturday on there way to Idaho Falls. It was so fun to finally meet Will. He is such a cute little boy. It is so fun because Bridger and Will are only 4 and 1/2 weeks apart. It was fun chatting and catching up. Thanks guys for stopping by it made my day!

Christmas card again

So after having my husband look at the card he decided he didn't like the picture of him and Bridger. Now that I look at it I can agree. Bridger had crazy hat hair. So here is the updated card with a few corrections. Who ever would like one just leave your address and I would love to send you one.
I hope that everyone is enjoying all the snow! I can't wait to take Bridger out and pull him around on the sled.

Busy Month

December always seems to be so busy with family and parties. I am not complaining though I love December and the spirit that it brings with it. This year is going to be a little harder to have that Christmas spirit knowing that so many families are losing their homes and jobs. Every year we try to find a family that we can help bring that Christmas spirit back. It is so important to me that my kids learn to give.
Our ward Christmas party was so much fun this year. I think because we knew a lot more people. We were in a hurry because I had to get the cookies and the potatoes out to the church before it started. So of course I forgot the camera. These are a few photos taken from Adam's phone.











Bridger didn't seem to mind Santa. He really liked his beard.

Until we meet again

My grandpa passed away last Wednesday night. It has been a pretty emotional week for the family. I had the opportunity to be with him just fifteen minutes before he passed. The spirit was so strong in the room, I could feel how thin the veil was at that time. My grandpa was an amazing man, he loved everyone he knew. What an amazing example he set for each one of us. I look forward to the day when I can be with him again. I am so grateful for the Atonement and the opportunity that we have to be eternal families. Funerals to me are not depressing because I know that it is not the end, but only the beginning of what is yet to come.

8 Months old

My baby is officially 8 months old. I can't believe how fast time flies. It seems like yesterday I was yelling to Adam "I think it's time to go" as I was crawling on the floor. What an amazing and spiritual experience it was, even after laboring for over 20 hours at home. I could not have asked for a better little spirit to have joined our family. Bridger amazes me everyday of the new things he some how picks up. I love this little man more than words could ever express. Being a mom is more rewarding then anything I have ever experienced. How lucky I am to be blessed to be a mom.















So I have never put my Christmas tree up this early. I have no idea what is wrong with me. I think I may be a little excited for Christmas this year. Bridger picked out his first Christmas ornament today, it is very cute. I gave him a choice of three and he picked Santa. Here are a few pictures of Bridger discovering the Christmas tree. Since Bridger has started to figure out the crawling thing he is getting into EVERYTHING!

These last 8 months have been amazing. I look forward to watching our family grow. I am nervous to try to raise children with the temptations that are in the world today, but I can't wait to see who they become. Since Thanksgiving is in two days I thought that I would write about some thing that I was thankful for.
I am thankful for these innocent little children and the spirit they bring. Our father and Heaven constantly reminds us that we need to become as little children. They remind me everyday of how we should be living. I just want to thank those who let me be a part of your children lives. It really means the world to me.

This has been such a busy month for us. Around the holiday's we seem to get really busy. Our ward is so amazing they always plan such fun stuff. They have fun games for the kids to play. And they also have line dancing at the end. We sat back on the sidelines and watched Matt and Emily get down. Here are a couple of pictures from this fun night.

Happy Birthday Addie

Bridger loved all the lights from dance dance Revolution. This is a video of him putting his groove on. We had such a great time at Addie's party on Saturday.
