Our month of February

To start with this sweet little boy. As you can see he is growing up way to fast. He is so much different then Bridger was. Drayson loves to be held, if I could hold him all day he would let me. He loves to cuddle and to be snuggled really close. I can say that this boy is a mommy's boy 100%. When I leave the room he always starts to cry! He has to see our hear me. We just adore him though. Here are a few pictures that I took of him today he is so good for the camera. Good thing because the camera loves him. These are not edited this time. With two I always seem to be short on time.












































Two weeks ago we went bowling with Becca, Brandon and the kids. It was so much fun, they are all starting to get along so well. It is going to make everything so much easier when they get married. OOPS I said it! Brandon and Becca are getting married in May and I am so excited to have an AMAZING sister in law.

Brandon is going to be such a good step dad. It has been really awesome watching him step in and help Becca with her kids. I love them all so much and can't wait until they are officially part of the family.












THE HOUSE

We have a hole and footings. I have never been so excited for something so small.














































They are moving right along. I am loving our builder so much already. I can't wait to see everything start to come together. I have been planning everything for almost 2 years. It is so nice to have the formans direct number so I can call and ask him what is going on.

I have officially almost lost all my baby weight and to where I need to be. Depending on the day I still need to loose 1-2 more lbs. I can thank having strep throat for 2 weeks, dieting and Zumba!

2 Month Appt.

Drayson had his 2 month appointment today and did wonderful. I can't believe how close him and Bridger are in size.

Drayson is 23 3/4 inches tall and 12lbs 3oz

Bridger was 24 inches and 12lbs 6oz

They are both really tall kids. Drayson was in the 70th% for height and 65th% for weight. I can't believe how fast they grow. If we could afford to have a big family I would be all for it. I love these little babies of mine.

More good news! We should have a hole and foundation by next Friday at the latest they said. We have just got to pray that the temperature stays above 20.

Draysons Blessing 02-06-2011

We had the opportunity to bless Drayson this Sunday. It was such a wonderful day. Adam gave him a really nice blessing. I am so grateful for a husband that wants to live worthy so he can use the priesthood. I am so lucky...........boy do I love that man. I love getting all of our family together for such an important day. I forgot my camera at home so I did not get any family pictures. I just got these ones of the boys. I am lucky to have people in my family that can sew. My sister Candace made Bridgers and my mom made Draysons. I love how they are different but the same colors. These are only a few pictures that I had a chance to get to. I will post more once I get to them.
-Drayson hit another milestone today.............He laughed for the first time. He has an adorable giggle just like Bridger.











































































Bridger in his outfit. Now you can see the boys close. They look alike a little but not a lot. Bridger was 6 weeks when we blessed him and Drayson was 8 weeks.







































Bridger was being a ham and wanted his picture taken. He was giving me some really cute smiles. I can't believe that he will be 3 this year. I am a little excited to take his 3-year old pictures. They should be tons of fun.























That is all that is going on in our lives right now. Adam just started shift work and is trying to get used to his schedule. We love having him home for 4 days. We are still waiting for the building permit for our house, so hopefully we will have a hole in a week or two.

I have started taking Zumba and I love it. Another good note............5 more lbs to lose. That 5 lbs I have been working on for two weeks and it won't budge. Oh well!!

Visiting

I had to make sure that I got some pictures when we went to visit last time. These are Adams grandparents, they are really neat people.

This kid is all smiles. I have never seen a baby smile so much. All I have to do is look at him and this is what I get in return. It makes being a mother so rewarding!!

Calling all Angels

Before I did a post on our family I wanted to pass this along. What a sweet family with such a sweet little angel baby! They are truly amazing. For information on what to do with the blankets go HERE

Phase 1 of House- Plans

Well here are the final set of plans. This is what our house is going to look like on the outside. We are still looking at a few different options for the trim around the garage and windows. In the back you can see Adams covered porch.























This is the basement that we are hopefully going to finish next winter. We are going to wire it now and then start sheet rocking when it gets cold. I am so excited to have an actual toy room and a bathroom downstairs.


















This is the upstairs. I have been debating whether or not to add some more cupboards in the kitchen and I think I have finally decided to add one at the end it will be 2 ft wide and 8-9 ft tall. So it will add a ton. We are so anxious to be in a house again. It will be almost 2 years since we sold our last house. We are just so grateful for my parents for helping Adam get a job and giving him a push in this direction. He loves his job and the new people he is going to get to work with. His schedule is going to be different all the time, but change is always good.

Updates Finally

We are moving along on our house, no hole yet but getting close. This last week I have been picking all the the colors. That is not a small task, I had to choose granite, tile, hardwood, all the cabinets in the house, style of the cabinets, hardware, stucco, trim rock and many other things. I can't wait to see it all finished.











This week our plans are being finalized by the architect then next week they are off to the state! So hopefully we will have a hole by the second week of February.

1 month

I can't believe that my baby is already 1 month. He has been such a blessing in our lives already. He is the happiest little baby I have ever seen. You look at him and he will give you and instant smile.
These are a few things that he does
-holds his head up
-smiles when you talk to him
-he still wakes up every 3-4 hours to eat.
-naps good during the day

We are just loving our little family and I am so blessed to have a house full of boys!

Bridger's first time bowling

We decided to take Bridger bowling over Adam's break and he loved it. Adam and I only got to bowl 3 times total, Bridger bowled the rest. He is a strong little boy. Adam got him a 6lb ball and he carried it all by himself.

Christmas

We had such a great Christmas ! We all got spoiled rotten this year! Adam has a huge surprise for me after we all opened presents.























Bridger got his train set that he has been asking for. He also got the big Woody, Jessie and Buzz. Lots of Thomas the train and Toy story stuff and some clothes.

And now for the Surprise! Adam waited until we were all done opening presents then he gave me a piece a paper that sent me on a scavenger hunt. I went from outside, downstairs, upstairs and then ended in the Laundry room where this was a blue folder and in it there was a JOB OFFER LETTER! I knew that he has applied but had no idea that he had got a job. My emotions hit a little because this is what we had been hoping and praying for, to stay here close to our family. It also gives us the opportunity to settle and get another house. I have been looking for a long time at houses so I knew exactly what I wanted.

This is going to be our new home as of July of 2011. We are waiting to start it until Adam starts his job but we signed all the paperwork to get it started. We can't be more excited. Fall Creek has been so awesome so far and gave us some really good pricing. This is not our exact house but we should be getting our plans back this week! We are just adding a 12x24 covered patio on the back. We are so excited about that!! We had a great Christmas and New Year and are lookign forward to what this year has in store for us. We are so grateful for our AMAZING family!
