Wood Floors

I am going to admit I have an obsession with wood floors. I struggled with my decision to go with wood instead of tile but after I saw them in and finished it reminded me again why I LOVE hardwood floors. It was not to bad of a price difference only about 600-800 dollars with us installing it, and that was for top of line handmade hardwood from Birch creek Mill work in Terreton. I would highly recommend them. There hardwood is beautiful and perfect.

It took my dad, Adam and Grandpa 15 hours to lay this floor. I am so grateful that my dad is handy! It saved us 1000.00

Adam and I hand stressed it ourselves using 2 different bolts a chain and a hole punch. I think it gave the floor some good character!
















It does not look this dark. the lighting is kind of hard and it was still wet. It is still pretty dark though.

Update on the house

It is just truly amazing that a house can go from this....................
















.....To this in 4 months. What a journey we have been on. I am going to say an enjoyable one to.
I have loved building. It is frustrating at times, I swear I repeat myself multiple times. I am not even in it yet and I can say it is well worth it. I have loved watching everything come together, crossing my fingers that the end result will look like what I pictured. I feel so blessed to be able to build a home that is everything I could ever want and more. I am grateful for a husband that works so hard to provide these things for us, Oh I love him. And I am so grateful for all my helpers and the all the subs that have helped me make this my home.

The back of the house from our property line. These pictures were from last week. They started hanging lights today, hardwood goes in Sat, tile is started and cabinets a week from today.

Calling all Angels

This was such a fun service project for the girls to participate in. Three of the girls are related to Neal so I think they were really excited about it. We got 4 blankets done in an hour. I think they turned out pretty cute.
















I have really loved serving these Young Woman. They are some pretty special girls. It is crazy to think that 7 years ago I was the Yw president and they still have me in the Yw. I love it! I have had 4 of my Young Woman get married. It is crazy because they were all beehives.

Drayson 5 months and Bridger's cast is off

Drayson turned 5 months on the 2nd of May. What can I say I am a little behind. Bridger also got his cast off last Wednesday the 11th.
















Drayson is such a little sweetheart. He can melt your heart in a second. I am in trouble when he gets older.























I tried to give him a little of rice cereal and he hates it. I tried it with breast milk and water. He still hates it. I have not given up yet, I still try the first of every week thinking that maybe he will change his mind. So as of right now all he wants is milk!! Just like his big Brother.























Bridger after the doctor took his cast off. He was scared to death of the little saw that they used to take it off. Now he pretends that he is the doctor and repeats everything the doctor said to him. It is really cute!







































Martin wanted to take the cast home and after the smell that it gave off I decided a picture is going to have to work.

Painting the house

We had lots of help when we painted the house. It was so nice of everyone to stop what they where doing to come help us out for a few days. My mother took two days off work then spent her other free time helping me. We started Weds and was finished that Saturday at around 6. So it was a busy couple of days. That and we had Brandon's wedding in between that to.
















We where trying anything and everything to keep Bridger entertained the first day.























Grandma told him to go tape his room so we could paint it.

Then he helped when we were not looking. Its a good thing it is easy to paint over.
